TOKYO INDIE GAMES SUMMIT is an indie game event that launched in 2023 in Kichijoji, Musashino City.
This year featured over 180 game titles from Japan and abroad, with a more diverse range of projects than ever before, including the first-ever online showcase via TikTok LIVE and the expansion of the TIGS AWARD to four categories.

In addition to game exhibits, various other programs were held, such as the “Programming Workshop by Kids Programming Academy” where elementary school students could experience game making using the “IchigoJam” compact PC, “make.ctrl.Japan” featuring games played with unique, custom-made controllers, and the debut of the “BEYBLADE X” hands-on experience.
A digest video summarizing the atmosphere of the venue over the two days has also been released, so be sure to check it out.
It was also announced that “OSAKA INDIE GAMES SUMMIT 2026” is scheduled to take place in Osaka on October 3 and 4. Stay tuned for further updates.
