The survival town-building game ‘Romestead’ that revives ancient Rome now has an early access version available

On May 26, Three Friends and Beartwigs began streaming the early access version of the Steam game “Romestead.” The price is 1599 yen (tax included), and until June 9th, it’s 10% off, making it 1439 yen (tax included).

“Romestead” is a survival and town-building sim game where you rebuild Rome with up to eight friends.

Players gather resources, welcome survivors to work, and build buildings and roads to rebuild the ruins of ancient Rome.

The game aims to eliminate the hassle typical of survival crafting genres, featuring non-durable weapons and tools, and a functional inventory system, allowing players to spend more time on adventures.

The game has garnered over 300,000 wishlists and was ranked among the “Top 10 Most Played Demos” at the Steam Next Fest held in February 2026. If you’re interested, why not give it a try?
