On August 26, Fallstreak Studio began streaming the demo version of the Steam game “Murder on the Crossing Parallel Line.”

The protagonist of this film, Chen Chou, joins a strange experimental project at the invitation of his best friend. However, during the experiment, he loses consciousness and wakes up to find himself inside a space probe.
The story follows that all the crew members they’ve never met before claim to know Chen Chou and wonder if they’ve been reincarnated into a parallel world, but as murder cases begin to occur one after another.

The deduction system in this game is designed to stimulate players’ independent reasoning skills, verifying clues, evidence, characters, and testimonies obtained through on-site investigations and conversations on a logic tree, and getting closer to the truth. This means that instead of following fixed in-game steps, players decide which flow of thought or cues to start with.

Additionally, whether the player uses clues related to parallel worlds during their deduction can greatly diverge, potentially leading to completely different murder cases or methods of crime, which in turn influence the subsequent development of the story.
In the demo, you can play up to Prologue + Chapter 1. The official release date is undecided.
