On September 2, Half Past Yellow announced that the Steam game “Stream Train” would be released on October 15 and began accepting closed playtest registrations.

“Stream Train” is a horror adventure game where up to six players cooperate to explore the “Uncanny Valley,” teeming with unidentified creatures. Players investigate dilapidated buildings and aim to entertain viewers by recording strange creatures and live streaming.
The people in the chat who are viewers react in real time to the events shown in the stream. If you can keep entertaining them by submitting challenges or requests, donations and support will arrive, which will help them survive.
Since the forest is home to ghosts and unidentified creatures, you can liven up your stream by performing dangerous stunts, provoking creatures, and playing pranks on your allies.

A closed playtest is planned to be held alongside the announcement, using Steam’s internal system, and selected players can invite up to four friends through Steam’s Friend Sharing feature. The number of participants is currently undecided.
