On September 9, Shueisha Games announced that it will release the roguelite action game “Hoshin Engi: Kyomei Chengten” (Switch2 / PS5 / Steam) in 2027 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the manga “Hoshin Engi.”
“Hoshin Engi: Gyakumei Shouten” is a roguelite action game featuring characters newly drawn by the original author, Ryu Fujisaki, specifically for this work.
Players take on the role of the protagonist, Toshin, a disciple of Taigong Wang, and embark on an adventure together with his partner, Chuchue Doji.
Deepen your bonds with familiar characters from the original like Taigong Wang and Yang Jian, freely combine a variety of ‘treasures’ to build your own unique fighting style, and conquer dungeons together with your companion spirit beasts.
