Toei Games has announced that it will be exhibiting at “WePlay Expo 2026,” China’s largest indie game event, which will be held from November 21st (Sat) to November 22nd (Sun), 2026 at Hall 2.2 of the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, China (333 Songze Avenue, Qingpu District, Shanghai).

This will be Toei Games’ first time exhibiting at WePlay Expo and its first time exhibiting at a game show in the Greater China region. Three titles will be on display at the Toei Games booth: “KILLA,” “HINO,” and “DEBUG NEPHEMEE.”

WePlay Expo is one of China’s largest indie game events, organized by CiGA (China Indie Game Alliance) and others. Last year, it attracted over 500 titles from both within China and overseas, and more than 20,000 attendees. Attendees could try out games on a wide range of platforms, including PC, consoles, and mobile devices. The event also features the “IndiePlay” indie game awards, making it a popular platform for direct interaction between players and developers.

Toei Games stated in a press release

China, with its concentration of talented developers and passionate game fans, is considered one of Toei Games’ most important markets as it aims to expand not only within Japan but also into the global market. Through this first-time exhibition, we hope to allow players in the Greater China region to directly experience our games and to further build relationships with local media partners.

That is what they say.
