Pokémon announced on March 24 that the Switch version of “Pokémon Champions” will be released on April 8th.

“Pokémon Champions” is a competitive game where you can enjoy Pokémon battles similar to the “Pokémon” series.
In addition to the “Ranked Battle” mode, where the rank changes depending on victory or defeat, the “Casual Battle” mode, where you can fight casually, and the “Private Battle” mode, where you can fight with family and friends, will be implemented.

The game is free to play (some items are charged), and the “Pokémon Champions + Starter Pack,” which includes the main game software and in-software benefits, will also be distributed on the same day.
In addition, services such as membership (700 yen per month) and a premium battle pass (1,400 yen) that can be purchased every season are also available as services to enjoy the game more deeply.
This game also supports cross-platform support for Nintendo Switch and smartphones, and the smartphone version is scheduled to be released around the summer. Please check the official website for other details.
