Indie game developer Yaya Mitani started releasing the game “SHEROK’s Case: Recollection” for Steam on April 28th.
“SHEROK’s Case: Recollection” is a branching visual novel game in which the player’s choices influence the development.
The player and Detective Sharok construct a hypothesis and proceed with the reasoning to get to the bottom of the case.
This game is designed for the purpose of “an experience that questions the player’s own cognition”, not only because the player’s choices change the story, but also because the outcome reached will change greatly depending on what they believe and how they interpret it.
