    On June 12, the Computer Entertainment Association began accepting public voting for the Japan Game Awards 2026 ‘Work of the Year’ category.

    General voting for the Japan Game Awards 2026 ‘Annual Work Category’ has begun. Works released domestically in Japan between June 1, 2025, and May 31, 2026 are eligible.

    The Japan Game Awards ‘Work of the Year’ category is an award that selects and honors outstanding computer entertainment software works that are truly representative of the year.

    This year, titles released in Japan between June 1, 2025, and May 31, 2026 are eligible. After a public vote, the Japan Game Awards selection committee will judge and determine each award.
    Last year, Atlas’s “Metaphor: Refantagio” won the grand prize.

    Voting deadline is July 17. For details on how to vote, please check the official website below.
