On July 27, Lazy Turtle Games and Polden Publishing began releasing the Steam game “Meowgic.” The price is 880 yen (tax included).
“Nekoneko Magic” is a voice action adventure game that supports up to 4 players co-op and activates magic when the player actually speaks.
Players take on the role of a cat wizard who sets out on a journey to retrieve the lost instrument from the magic school.
In this game, all spells such as attacks and healing can actually be activated by shouting. Furthermore, for each magic, you can choose the words you want to shout and swap them with your favorite words—”banana” or “abracatabra.”
The adventure takes place on islands floating above the clouds, divided into five themed islands—Egyptian Tombs, Knight’s Castle, Cursed Mansion, and Mysterious Forest—where the map changes every time you play. Jump from scaffold to platform, shout spells, and carve your own path.
