On September 9, the Japan Independent Game Association announced that three award-winning titles from the indie game event “BitSummit PUNCH” will be exhibited at the BitSummit booth at the “Tokyo Game Show 2026.”
At the booth, visitors can try out “TOWEL SURVIVOR,” which won the Gadget Communication Award; “TORIMA HEADBANG,” which won the Student Game Jam Award; and “YaoyoroZOO,” which won the Innovative Rebellious Heart Award. Users who try will receive official towels and T-shirts as special prizes by lottery.

Towel Survivor
“Towel Survivor” is an interactive 2D action game where you swing real towels around to defeat enemies. Enemies come in three colors: red, yellow, and green, and you attack by choosing towels of the same color and swinging them around. You fight by carefully selecting the colors of the enemies that appear one after another, switching between the three colors.
TORIMA HEADBANG
“TORIMA HEADBANG” is a VR headbang rhythm run action game where you actually shake your head to the rhythm of music. You become a gang of birds with cool crested feathers, racing through the streets on a mini skateboard.
You switch between various headbangs such as vertical and horizontal swings, circular movements, and figure-eights, overcoming incoming obstacles with energy and energy.
YaoyoroZOO
“YaoyoroZOO” is an action game where the player’s facial movements are reflected in the in-game characters. Players take on the role of a keeper and cooperate with mysterious animals called “Fanimals,” inspired by everyday objects, to conquer stages.
Use various facial expressions such as opening their mouths and blinking to unravel the gimmicks.
