The demo version of the antnest-building strategy ‘Ant Colony: The Forest Where Ants Crawl’ is now available for distribution, a strategy where you build an empire from a single queen.

On October 3, Polden Publishing began streaming the demo version of the Steam game “Ant Colony: Wild Forest.”

“Ant Colony: Ant Crawling Forest” is a single-player construction strategy game where you expand ant nests and make colonies thrive.

Players can control not just a single ant, but a colony of ants or an entire ant nest. They can dig tunnels underground, create rooms, choose the types of ants to produce, and set priorities, with each ant moving autonomously according to those priorities.

The forest is home to enemies such as hungry spiders, scorpions, and hornets, so you must systematically evolve and strengthen your ants to protect the queen. Additionally, swarms of other competing ants appear, so sometimes you need to send large armies into the enemy’s nest to destroy them.

The release date and price are currently undecided. The demo version is said to include six missions, so if you’re interested, why not add the full version to your wishlist and try out the demo?
