Steam title “Sill Cats” released

SQOOL is pleased to announce that it has released its in-house desktop resident pet app “Sill Cats” on May 12, 2026 (Tuesday) on the PC game platform Steam for free.

“Sill Cats” is a pet app that has a small cat on the user’s desktop screen. Cats can walk on open windows, jump from window to window to move around the workspace, curl up in the corner of the screen to sleep, and come closer in response to mouse cursor movements. It reacts to clicks, makes sudden dashes (commonly known as “zoomies”) that occur between 1 and 4 a.m., and so on. “Sill Cats” is characterized by a design that replicates the behavior of real cats in this way. It also supports multi-monitor environments, allowing cats to come and go across multiple screens.

“Sill Cats” are basically free, and the free basic pack welcomes two breeds, an Abyssinian and a tuxedo. Additional cat breeds will be distributed in the form of “breed pack” paid DLC, and one DLC will be sold for 265 yen.

For seven days from release to May 19, the DLC will be available for purchase at a 10% discount.

There are five languages available: English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Korean.
