Physics Sandbox Game ‘Besiege’ and Major Expansion Content ‘The Broken Beyond’ Released

On June 22, Spiderling Studios began streaming the major expansion for the Steam game Besiege, titled “Besiege: The Broken Beyond.”The price is 1100 yen (tax included), and until June 29, it’s 15% off, making it 935 yen (tax included).

“Besiege” is a physics sandbox game themed around the medieval era. Players use a highly flexible build system to design and craft various machines such as siege weapons, battering rams, and ballistas, while defeating enemy forces and capturing fortresses.

In this DLC, the setting has finally expanded into space.Thirteen new spaceflight blocks, including boosters and control thrusters, have been added.For the first time in the series, a fuel system was also introduced, requiring the aircraft to be designed while balancing fuel capacity and airframe weight.

Additionally, the campaign includes 11 stages set from the Earth to the edge of the universe. Starting with launches from Epsilon, a variety of missions will unfold, including siege battles on asteroid fortresses, races on desert planets, and battles against alien fleets.
